back to their original state, exposing the grain and allowing the golden colour

of the pine to shine through is a great way to add character to any interior.

Alternatively, if you are considering repainting your doors, stripping them prior

to painting can expose much of the detail that may have disappeared over the

years under layers of thick paint.

We strip all kinds of doors, internal, external, kitchen cupboard, under-stairs

cupboards to name a few. All types of wood can be stripped, whether your doors

are made from Pine, Oak or other hardwoods,

we are able to strip them all (with the exception of more modern doors made from MDF). It's so surprising how much of a difference it can make by having your kitchen cupboard doors stripped, layers of varnish can really darken a room, after they've been stripped it feels like a new, fresh kitchen. Some kitchen cupboard doors may be made with veneered panels, these can be still be stripped with our hand stripping system - this is a more gentle but highly effective way to remove paint or varnish.

All door hardware, except for hinges and lock boxes must be removed before stripping and any stickers also need to be removed. Every door can behave differently during the stripping process. Some doors may absorb more liquid than others which may affect the final colour and finish, therefore, sadly it is not possible to guarantee any final outcomes.
